Sticker Shield has been making life easier and driving safer for customers worldwide for over 20 years. This patented product was developed in the United States and is still proudly manufactured domestically. Now with a Midwest and Southeast office, Sticker Shield continues to be the industry leader in its category, being the first product of its kind and having served millions of customers to date. As a homegrown American company, we support our veterans by contributing 5% of our website sales to Disabled American Veterans (dav.org) annually.

History

The Company was founded by Pete Kassab in 1997 in Chicago, Illinois. Pete was working as an event manager and constantly scraping event passes from his windshield - a tedious, messy and often damaging task. Guided by his entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity, he sought to develop a solution. The first version of Sticker Shield – known then as “Windshield Relief ™” - was born in 1997. Early success and clear market demand encouraged Pete to continue to evolve the product for more versatility and more applications. After several iterations, lab testing and development, in 2002 Pete ultimately produced a product like no other  that has taken the scraping, solvents and screaming out of using stickers. The final product also needed a new name that embodied its multiple uses. Windshield Relief™ was not sticking with consumers, who often called it “that Sticker Stuff”. Even though “Sticker Stuff” was catchy, Pete ultimately wanted a name that better described the use of the product, and the name “Sticker Shield” was born.
